Title: Guidelines for the Regulation of Representative Offices of Foreign Banks in Nigeria

Summary: All banks and other financial institutions are requested to adhere to the Guidelines for the Regulation of Representative Offices of Foreign Banks in Nigeria within 6 months from the date of this circular. These guidelines are designed to promote understanding of regulatory requirements for the operations of representative offices of foreign banks in Nigeria and are in line with the Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act 2020.
